Three advertising options for local businesses, event creators/organizers:
Text-Based AdsSimple text-based ads or alerts that run on the Main app screen and can be connected to an image ad. This is a easy, low-cost solution to engage with local customers and to offer short-term deals.
Pop-Up Image AdsWe built our advertising system to be a "permission- based" meaning that pop-up ads display when the user has paused their activity (hopefully avoids annoying users) and the ads link to the business directory and map for further information.

Compared with other vendors, your ads in the Neighbourhoods Apps will be shown many times per day increasing engagement with local customers. Monthly advertising packages start as low as $20 for text-based ads and $100 for image ads.
Unique FeaturesThe app enables businesses and advertisers to offer short-term and time-limited specials or discounts to drive business throughout the day or night. Through the use of text ads and the ease of submitting ad content via text message or e-mail, we offer businesses an opportunity to connect with local customers any time.
Social MediaAdvertising in the Neighbourhoods Apps includes sharing the ad through our social media channels as well as monthly "favorites" reporting.

We plan to work with some of the 81 Business Improvement Areas (BIAs) within the City and the Toronto Association of BIAs (TABIA) as an umbrella group that represents over 40,000 businesses. The BIAs are of many different sizes and budgets and work in various ways to improve commerce and attract residents and visitors to stay in the Neighbourhood and #ShopLocal, #EatLocal, #DrinkLocal.
